Zandvlei trust World Water Day – Litter cleanup on 24 March 2007. A Zandvlei Trust community initiative, working with the City of Cape Town. To celebrate World Water Day, we
decided to do a litter cleanup on Park Island again this year, to add to the
information we gathered last year. Litter from the picnickers on the western shore of Zandvlei is blown across the vlei and onto Park Island in the prevailing summer winds.
