Here is how it works:
- Theme: Zandvlei — conservation and community.
- Maximum 3 entries per person.
- The photos should be in landscape orientation.
- They do not need to be taken in 2022.
- Photos should be 1-MB or larger.

Photos can be of the vlei, wildlife, birds, landscapes, activities, or people having fun. The idea is to promote Zandvlei as a place for people to enjoy. At the heart of the theme is conservation and community. The boundaries of the area are the vlei and its shores, including Lakeside, Westlake and extending 100 meters on either side of Zandvlei Mouth.
The winners will be included in a glossy printed calendar which will be sold to raise funds for the Zandvlei Trust and to support its activities. Images will also be in our newsletters and social media. A special get together to show the winners and other finalists will be held where the judges will discuss the entries and hand over the floating trophy for the best image.
Please note. Upon entry you give the ZVT permission to share your photographs on social media and to promote the interests of the Zandvlei Trust — whether its by commercial or non-commercial means. We undertake to give photographers full credit and will also show Facebook and Instagram links if you so wish.
We will be handing out a floating trophy for the competition. In addition Orms Print Room which offers outstanding professional quality printing has offered the following exciting prizes for our Zandvlei Trust photo competition.
