ZVT is providing financial support to the Cape Town Environmental Education Trust (CTEET) through its Village Heights programme to help it implement a two year environmental education programme for the youth. This project, entitled ‘Eco Buddies’, focuses around raising environmental awareness to a broad range of youths through a variety of activities. Activities undertaken to date include litter cleanups at sensitive wetland sites and a beach cleanup at Sunrise Circle as well as various presentations to the kids. Many more activities are planned in the coming months.
